Jesse Doyle, II and His Bride Raven, United in a Beautiful Wedding Ceremony

Jesse Doyle, II (groom), Eva Doyle (grandmother), Raven Murphy (Bride), and Jesse Doyle, Sr.

I would like to congratulate my grandson, Jesse Doyle, II and his beautiful bride Raven, on their wedding that was held on Saturday, October 7, 2023. The wedding was held at Samuel’s Grande Manor located at 8750 Main Street in Williamsville, New York. The wedding ceremony was performed by Bishop T. Anthony Bronner, Senior Pastor of Elim Christian Fellowship, located at 70 Chalmers Avenue. It was an outdoor event among chilly air and sunshine but filled with warmth, love, and enthusiasm.

Friends and relatives gathered to wish them well. Standing beneath the oval awning, Jesse and Raven exchanged their vows.

Jesse Doyle, II is the son of Jesse Doyle and Clarene Frank. Raven is the daughter of Sam and Darlene Murphy. Also in the wedding party were their sons, Jesse Doyle, III and Adonis Doyle. The wedding party wore burgundy and white. The bride wore an off shoulder white gown with floral lace and a flowing train, and carried a bouquet of white flowers dotted with color.

Jesse Doyle is a Veteran of the National Guard and the Army Reserves. Raven is a graduate of Spelman College, an Historically Black College for women located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Bishop Bronner referenced their names in the Bible: Jesse coming from the genealogy of Jesus and meaning God’s Gift; Raven, has a positive meaning from the story of Noah. After the flood, Noah sent out a raven which flew back and forth until the flood dried up. The couple have two good names of honor.

Weddings always remind me of the words of the poet Robert Browning when he wrote the following, “ Come, Grow Old with Me, the Best is Yet to Be – the last of life for which was made.” This quote is often used as a romantic expression of love and commitment.

I wish many Blessings always to Jesse and Raven Doyle on this new journey of life together.
