Buffalo Bills Open the Season 2-0
Pat Freeman, The Mighty O’Ba
The Buffalo Bills opened their 2024-2025 with two early wins, including a dominating performance against divisional rival, the Miami Dolphins 31-10.
The Bills have had so many changes on both sides of the ball that many national prognosticators have felt they would take a step back. The one thing I have admired about Coach Sean McDermott since his arrival is that this franchise will be competitive in every game it plays. Very seldom has this franchise under his tenure been embarrassed by not giving a professional effort on the field. Each week presents a professional franchise with challenges to be successful, and we need to look at how this organization has always seemed to be competitive in each game. Whatever criticisms you might have of The McDermott/ Beane regime effort and preparation is not one of them.
The hometown team will get a little break before their Monday Night contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which will be another tough test at High Mark Stadium. One of my concerns about night games at the stadium is the old lights that emit high glare levels. Those lights should have been updated years ago and have not cost you another football game.
If you remember the Kansas City playoff game last year, Josh Allen threw a perfect strike to Stephon Diggs that was not caught. After the game Muki Hawkins (WUFO Radio), George Radney (Challenger Community News) and myself felt that Diggs lost the ball in the lights.
