Buffalo Bills Back On Track

Amari Cooper

The Buffalo Bills returned home and made a deal for Amari Cooper, which paid immediate dividends for the hometown team as they defeated the Tennessee Titans 34-10.

The Titans entered the contest with the best defense in the AFC, but could not match up against the Bills in this contest. Now many are critical of the Bills overall record of 5-2 because they have not beaten a team with a winning record. The combined record of the five teams that the Bills have beaten is only 9-23 at the time this article was written.

Buffalo, unfortunately does not make their schedule, and we should be applauding their record of 5-2 regardless of the records of the opposition. Obviously, this is a down year for the AFC east, but once again you must applaud McDermott/Beane, because we are right in the thick of competing for another run at the division. That is what you want from each season no matter how we perceive where the team is in their development.

Most of you know that I am not a fan of small linebackers and recognize that we are inexperienced at the safety position, but you are winning games and that is what it is about.

Next up for the hometown team is the Seattle Seahawks and former Defensive Coordinator Leslie Frazier, who I am sure is chomping at the bit to frustrate and shut down Josh Allen, who has not thrown an interception in seven games this season.

I asked Sean McDermott about that fact, and he states that this is a huge statistic from his franchise quarter back because turnovers are the one statistic that most coaches in the NFL can decide a game. So far this season I have picked the Bills in each game and will again vs. Seattle Seahawks.
