Buffalo Bills are in Firm Control of the AFC East
By Pat Freeman, The Mighty O’Ba
The Buffalo Bills took part of their loyal fan base to Seattle and came back with their best game of the year. The hometown team dominated this game from beginning to end and although Josh Allen threw his first interception, he played his best game. The Bills have started slowly in each of the previous seven games. When a head coach defers the kickoff their first goal is to stop the opposing team’s first drive. The mission accomplished for the Bills not only did they stop the Seahawks, orchestrated a successful long drive and scored the first touchdown. Coach McDermott always stresses complimentary football, and this was one of the Bills best games rushing for 164 yards with Josh Allen throwing 24-34 for 283 yards is a good day for Joe Brady’s offense.
The Bills Defense led by Greg Rousseau and Ed Oliver frustrated the Seahawks the entire game. Next up is their second contest against the Miami Dolphins who have continued to struggle since the Tua injury although he has returned to the lineup, the Dolphins are not playing well. Look for the Bills to absolutely take full control of the division this week. The Hometown team returns to the friendly confines of Highmark stadium vs the Dolphins Sunday afternoon
