Bills Update
Pat Freeman, The Mighty O’Ba
The hometown team will be headed to Baltimore to face a very physical Ravens organization. When you play the Ravens, you must stop Lamar Jackson, the reigning MVP who now has some help on the offensive side of the ball. The Ravens signed Derrick Henry during the off season giving the Ravens one of the best running backs of this generation, if he can remain healthy.
The Raven’s defense has remained one of the most physical units in the NFL led by Roquan Smith they look to continue winning after holding on to win a critical game vs Dallas Cowboys. The one hallmark of any Ravens team has been strong physical play on both sides of the ball.
Bills Offensive coordinator Joe Brady has done an excellent job of getting a variety of players involved in the offense, the first few weeks of the season. Though this writer mentioned during the off season that James Cook had the potential to play the same role as hall of famer Thurman Thomas with an incredible ability to find space in the passing game.
Second year tight end Dalton Kincaid has continued to improve in his second season, but Joe Brady has given defenses a tough time slowing down this diversified offensive attack. Along with multi-talented receiver Khalil Shakir it is looking like the Bills are still the team to beat still in the AFC east. This week is going to be tough, but I will stick with the Bills in a close game.
