Buffalo Bills Draft 2025
By Pat Freeman, The Mighty O’Ba
This year the Buffalo Bills find themselves in one of the best situations they have been in during the tenure of McDermott/Beane. They can once again take the best player available in the draft. Though most of the prognosticators predict the Bills will take a defensive player and they could be right, but they truly do not have to. I think that Brandon Beane will put together a draft day trade that will say goodbye to James Cook as a Bill giving the organization added Draft capital in the later rounds of the draft.
Honestly, Brandon Beane has had his most success in rounds 4-7 of the draft since his arrival here in Western New York. The organization once again is looking to make a good team better and since Sean McDermott’s arrival the Bills have been one of the top organizations in the league. When you have a good team you can afford to take some chances that can change the complexion of your franchise in a draft that has some very good talent at positions you are looking to improve. The Bills also have an extra second round pick that they picked up from the Stephon Diggs trade.
I’m looking for the Bills to be making a lot of deals on day two of the draft. The positions that I think the team will address are linebacker, safety, cornerback, running back, defensive tackle, and edge rusher. All these scenarios will change once Brandon Beane starts making some great deals. Congratulations to WUFO Sports Director Muki Hawkins who was credentialed to cover the University of Colorado pro day. That is a huge achievement and helps the visibility of our up-and-coming stars by his attendance.
