African American Read-In

Sunday, February 18th, at 2:00 p.m.

Join in an African American History Month celebration with an African American Read-In to promote literacy and the literature of African American Authors, at the Frank E. Merriweather, Jr. Branch Library, 1324 Jefferson Ave.

All are welcome. Bring something to read that was written by an African American Author. Maximum reading time in 3 minutes. The event is hosted by Kenneth and Sharon Holley of Zawadi Books, in cooperation with Tradition Keepers: Black Storytellers of WNY.

The African American Read-In is a national event sponsored by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English.
