Pastor Corey Gibson’s 5th Anniversary

The Calvary Baptist Church of Buffalo celebrated Pastor Cory Gibson’s 5th Pastoral Anniversary. Pastor Gibson is a native Buffalonian and member of Calvary Baptist Church. The celebration began on Friday, April 12th, with Pastor Gibson and the Young Adults. On Saturday, the youth and Pastor Gibson celebrated with a bowling outing.

The Sunday Morning Service special guest was Rev. Dr. Vernon C. Walton, of the First Baptist Church of Vienna, VA. There were many guests from the city, the state, and the community in attendance. They all shared the same thought and opinions about Pastor Corey and Dr. Ida Gibson: “Pastor Gibson is local royalty in our community.” They all gave honor to Pastor and Dr. Ida Gibson for all that they have done.

Brother Clifford Bell stated that Pastor Gibson is an essential part of the community. Pastor Gibson and Dr. Gibson are also doing excellent work in Calvary Baptist Church. Calvary Baptist Church and Pastor Gibson are a CARING congregation.

During Sunday Morning Service, baby Caleb Gibson was blessed. Family members and friends came from near and far away to witness the new addition of the Gibson family being blessed by Rev. Dr. Vernon C. Walton. Thank you Pastor Corey and Dr. Ida Gibson for serving five years as FAITHFUL stewards of the Calvary Baptist Church.
