Nine Days of Early Voting Begins Saturday, Oct. 26th
Polls will be open through Nov. 3rd
Erie County Board of Elections commissioners Ralph M. Mohr and Jeremy J. Zellner reminded voters that early voting for the Tuesday, Nov. 5 general election begins Saturday, Oct. 26, and runs for nine days through next Sunday, Nov. 3.
Voters may use any of the BOE’s 38 early voting poll sites regardless of where they reside in Erie County. Each location is able to print the correct ballot for eligible voters.
Early voting poll hours are 12-9 pm Monday-Friday, 9 am -5 pm Saturdays and Sunday.
“Presidential elections are usually accompanied by higher than usual turnout, making the early voting option attractive for many people,” said Mohr. “Nine days of voting with 38 different poll sites provides Erie County residents with more than ample opportunities to cast their ballots.”
“We have the most extensive and inclusive early voting program in New York State, and the reason is simple: We want to make it as convenient as possible to exercise the right to vote,” Zellner said.
Zellner added that although it is not required, the use of the “FastVote” cards that have been mailed to Erie County voters will make check-in more efficient.
