Hayatte Abebe

Hayatte Abebe, a remarkable young woman from Buffalo, NY, has been crowned National United Miss 2024-2025. The crowning ceremony took place on July 13th, 2024, and throughout the upcoming year, Hayatte will proudly represent the International United Miss Organization.

Hayatte is the founder of Hope4homes, an organization committed to advocating for the underserved community in Buffalo. Her passion for helping others is evident in her statement: "Just because someone has a roof above their heads doesn’t mean that they are not struggling, and I want to help in any way I can."

Balancing her advocacy work with academic excellence, Hayatte is currently in her last year of graduate school, majoring in criminal justice with a minor in forensic science. She embodies the perfect combination of beauty and brains, demonstrating a commitment to both her community and her education.

Reflecting on her recent title, Hayatte expressed, "It feels so unreal. I really took this year to focus more on my why and push myself, and I knew it would all pay off." Her dedication and hard work have certainly paid off.

Growing up, Hayatte faced the challenge of shyness and the desire to fit in. Over time, she embraced her true self, proudly wearing her curly hair and immersing herself in her culture. She now shares this cultural pride with younger girls in her community, teaching them to embrace their heritage through cultural dance and other activities.

Hayatte’s vision extends beyond her reign as National United Miss; she aspires to leave a legacy and be a voice for younger girls, inspiring them to be confident and true to themselves.

About International United Miss Organization: The International United Miss Organization is dedicated to celebrating the achievements of young women who exemplify beauty, intelligence, and commitment to their communities.
