Here is an important update on the Community Opposition to New York State Department of Transportation [NYSDOT]’s controversial Route 33 Kensington Expressway Project.
SUNY University at Buffalo’s Community Health Equity Research Institute has been approached about commissioning a Humboldt Parkway Neighborhood Community Health Study, and local and regional foundations have been asked for funding assistance.
In addition, a nationally renowned Law Firm is asking that (current and past) Humboldt Parkway Neighborhood Residents interested in any (potential) lawsuit for Adverse Health Impacts that may be attributable to living in close distance to the Kensington Expressway, contact +1(800) 713-1222. For the latter group of persons, I have developed a helpful Health Screening Survey Tool, at my Covington Associates Consulting | CAC consulting company. Persons are welcome to utilize the Survey, in gaining a clearer picture and presentation of their Health Condition(s) circumstance.
Finally, an (upcoming) follow-up Kensington Expressway Project Community Opposition Information and Update Meeting will take place, on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, starting at 6 p.m., at the Merriweather Library, located at 1324 Jefferson Avenue at East Utica Street, in Buffalo.
Health Screening Surveys will be administered starting at 5pm before, and after, the meeting. Feel free to contact me, Ms. Sherry Sherrill, at +1(716) 800-1394, for additional details, or for clarification, of anything indicated above.
