Buffalo Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. to Host 17th Biennial Beautillion Extraordinaire Gala

Honoring Excellence: The 17th Biennial Beautillion Gala Celebrates the Rise of Young Black Male Leaders While Giving Back to the Community

Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. will host the 17th Biennial Beautillion Extraordinaire Gala on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Wurlitzer, 908 Niagara Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda, NY. This black-tie fundraiser will celebrate the achievements of young Black men in their junior and senior years of high school as they complete a transformational journey of leadership, service, and personal development.

Proceeds from the gala will benefit both the Jack and Jill Foundation and the Police Athletic League (PAL) of Buffalo. The Jack and Jill Foundation supports programs that improve the lives of African American children and families through education, health, and community involvement. The Police Athletic League of Buffalo (PAL) provides local youth with academic enrichment, physical activity, and social development opportunities, fostering positive relationships between young people and law enforcement.

The Beautillion program provides young men, known as Beaus, with mentorship, networking opportunities, and enrichment activities that prepare them for success beyond high school. This year’s gala will feature the prestigious Legacy of Leadership Award, recognizing an outstanding community leader, Chiwuike "Chi-Chi" Owunwanne, Corporate Responsibility Officer & Community Relations Manager at KeyBank covering the Western New York and Rochester, NY. Chi Chi has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to economic development and community empowerment, particularly in Buffalo’s East Side neighborhoods. The gala will also include presentations from the beaus themselves.

Members of the media are invited to cover this inspiring event, which not only showcases the next generation of Black male excellence but also supports initiatives that uplift the broader Buffalo community. Interview opportunities will be available with program organizers, Beaus, and honorees.
