5th Annual Women of Color Summit Kickoff June 5th

Eleversity, the workforce inclusion division of Heritage Christian Services, is proud to announce that the 2024 Women of Color Summit kickoff event will be held in-person on Wednesday June 5, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. and Thursday June 6, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Niagara Falls, N.Y.

The event will serve as the outset for the Women of Color Summit, a professional development conference offering an opportunity to address and discuss systemic barriers, inequities and disparities for women of color on a national scale. The conference theme for 2024 is R. I. S. E - “Recognizing Our Influence, Success and Essence: Why We Matter.”

The conference aims to leverage the collective influence, successes and essence of its attendees, with the goal of creating a unified space of liberation, relatable stories and opportunities for development. The summit is designed to equip attendees with tools that will allow them to navigate different areas of the workplace, including career goals, performance, relationships, growth opportunities, challenges and more.

Featured speakers at the kickoff event will include Tamika Otis, corporate responsibility and community re lations officer for KeyBank’s Central NY and Capital Region markets; Crystal Rodriguez-Dabney, chief diversity officer & senior vice president at Roswell Park Com prehensive Cancer Center; Stephanie Crockett, CEO of Mower; Taren Greenidge, partner at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP; and a host of regional and national speakers.

The Summit will continue with a series of virtual events on July 18 and 25. Sponsoring support comes from the Erie County Commission on the Status of Women, Mower, Wegmans, Roswell Park Cancer Center, Paychex, Ever green Health, St. John Fisher University Executive Lead ership Program and a host of other organizations.
