The Buffalo History Museum Presents Conversation about the Original Buffalo Bills

Author and sports historian Ken Crippen will whet the appetites of Buffalo football fans ahead of the start of the regular season when he leads a discussion on the history of Buffalo Bills football on Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at The Buffalo History Museum.

Crippen will take a deep dive into the formation of the Buffalo Bills of the All America Football Conference, memorable games and players from that era, and attempts to get the Bills into the NFL in 1950. He knows the subject well. Crippen is the author of “The Original Buffalo Bills: A History of the All-America Football Conference Team (1946- 1949)” and co-editor of, “The All-America Football Conference: Players, Coaches, Records, Games and Awards.”
