Neglia Ballet's Production of The Nutcracker, with Music Performed by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Returns to Shea’s Buffalo Theatre this December 

Tickets are on sale now for The Nutcracker, a cherished holiday tradition for 15 years 

Neglia Ballet’s The Nutcracker returns to Shea’s Buffalo Theatre for its 15th presentation of this beloved holiday tradition. Immerse yourself in an enchanting world filled with memorable moments, breathtaking live ballet, and the magnificent sounds of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in their 90th anniversary season, all performed on the majestic Shea’s Buffalo stage.  

Due to popular demand, a third performance has been added this season! Join us for performances on Friday, December 6 at 7:00 pm, Saturday, December 7 at 2:00 pm, and Sunday, December 8 at 1:00 pm. Don’t miss out on this timeless holiday classic! 

Tickets range from $29 to $95 and are available at sheas.org or by visiting Shea’s Box Office, Main Street, Downtown Buffalo. For groups of 10 or more, call 716.829.1153. 

Professional, world-renowned dancers will perform alongside 70 children from Western New York. Even if you've seen the Neglia Ballet's The Nutcracker before, you won't want to miss it this year! The curtain opens for the second act showcasing Neglia Ballet's brand-new Land of Sweets scenery! 

Montreal-based American conductor Daniel Black returns to lead the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in the treasured Nutcracker score by Romantic-era composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, as Neglia Ballet performs the ballet on the Shea’s Buffalo stage. Black studied conducting at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, and Northwestern University, and among his mentors are Leonid Korchmar, Neil Varon, and Victor Yampolsky.
