URCNYS is the sponsoring organization behind the development of the proposed Tubman Byway (HTURB). The Corridor would connect locales associated with our state’s storied history including Underground Railroad Historical sites as well as the locations freedom seekers and Abolitionists operated through New York State in their pursuit of liberty. This Corridor will highlight historic and cultural heritage sites, as well as recommendations for recreation, dining and lodging along the route.
