“Elevating Our Gratitude” is the theme of the 15th Annual Anniversary Celebration of Pastor Jason and Lady Janis Drayton, leaders of First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 467 William St., Buffalo. The joyous occasion will be held at the Grapevine Banquet Hall, 333 Dick Rd., Depew, NY, on Saturday, May 18th at 5:00 p.m.

Elder Jason Jerel Drayton is a native of Buffalo, NY. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buf falo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology (Medical) and a Minor de gree in Judaic/Christian Religious Studies. He is also a graduate of D’Youvile College, and holds a Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

Elder Drayton has served as pastor of First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church since November 3, 2008. Being a Buffalo native, he is well aware of the cultural, social, and spiritual issues confronting the people in the urban community, especially in a ministry context.

Elder has personally dedicated his life to strengthening the weak, encouraging the saints, and evangelizing the lost through preaching, teaching, discipleship, mentoring, counseling, and various other forms as God sees fit. He has come to greatly value and appreciate the integrity, honor, and char acter of leading God’s people and caring for the flock. It is his burden for the people of God to fall in love with their creator and to see him for the awesome wonder He is.

Elder Drayton is married to Lady Janis Camille Drayton. They are the proud parents of two beautiful children, Jairus and Jasmine. Pastor Drayton invites you to join them Sunday, May 19th at 10:45 a.m. for Morning Worship and Celebration.
