Come On In The Room

About six years ago, while traveling to London, England, I had a layover at Keflavik Airport in Iceland. There, I discovered the "Keflavik International Airport Prayer Room." What a beautiful idea —a dedicated space for reflection and prayer. It struck me that we all need a place like this.

A vision came to me that a similar space was needed at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. It took six years to bring this vision to life, thanks to the support and collaboration of many individuals, including:

  • The Honorable Crystal Peoples-Stokes

  • Helen Tederous, Director of Public Affairs, NFTA

  • Rev. Mark Blue,

  • Commissioner, NFTA Lee Weitz, Director of Aviation, NFTA

A special thank-you to Congressman Tim Kennedy, whose dedication was instrumental in making this project a reality. I also extend heartfelt gratitude to Visionary Pastor Rosetta B. Swain of Enter-In Ministry, FGBC, whose steadfast commitment brought this vision to fruition.

The space, now called the Reflection Room, is located on the main floor of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport near Gate 6. It is accessible to both arriving and departing passengers, as well as staff with proper identification. The Reflection Room is conveniently situated across from the Freedom Room, offering a peaceful environment for all who need it. "Let God Find You Where You Are."
