Remembering The Buffalo 10

By Allie Freeman

Remembering The Buffalo 10 and the three injured,

owed more than just tributes.

Never can we forget that terrible day, May 14;

Where, what and when did evil take wind?

A lick, a terrible blunt, a cut in psychic

Never dreamed, never could have thought death

brought on, the trouse invaded our hold on reality.

It is and will be a dark cloud, a mold:

A mother, grandmother, a son, aunt, cousin, father,

daughter, sister, brother, friend, neighbor,

The best of the best.

God rest their souls,

No more, no more

Man’s inhumanity to man;

Sad, sad, sad.
