This scholarship is named in honor of my late hus band Romeo Doyle Muhammad, who was a Veteran of the Korean War. He always encouraged students to stay in school and get a good education.
Seven students will receive a check to help them with their college expenses. Each student will also receive a gift bag with school supplies. Special thanks to the indi viduals who made donations to the scholarship. You can find a list of the donors in the June 8th edition of the Criterion newspaper. Special thanks to Congressman Elect Tim Kennedy, who will have certificates from his office for the recipients.
