The Recipients of the 15th Annual Romeo Doyle Muhammad Scholarship
This Columnist would like to announce the recipients of the 15th Annual Romeo Doyle Muhammad Scholarship. I created this scholarship in honor of my late husband Romeo Doyle Muhammad, who was a Veteran of the Korean War. He served our country with honor. He was a combat Veteran. Brother Romeo as he was called always encouraged students to stay in school and get a good education. He loved math and reading. This scholarship is awarded in the month of July which is his birth month. It gives me great pleasure to give scholarships to students who are doing the right thing and contributing to our community. The recipients of this year’s scholarship are:
Jonathan Douglass a student at Cheektowaga Central High School..
Naia Marrow from the Performing Arts Academy.
Melia Towns from Lockport High School..
Zigabor Banuna, a student from Hutch Tech High School.

Dominique Grandy, who will graduate from Burgard High School.
Each of these students will attend college in the fall.
