The Buffalo Bills season is now on the line with another contender coming to Highmark Stadium in a must win situation for the hometown franchise. It makes no difference what has transpired during the season so far, because it comes down to who is hot at the end.

The Buffalo Bills, despite the many critical injuries, still have one of the best rosters in football and have an offensive line that has stayed relatively healthy this entire season. Most people do not realize that fact alone could be enough of a spark to see this unit make an impressive push in the play offs.

Interim offensive coordinator Brady is now at what I call the NFL coach’s challenge area of five games of film. Former Bills Coach Wade Phillips told me years ago that it takes between 3-5 games of film to begin really game planning against what another team does. So now we will see how good Joe Brady is with five games of play calling under his belt with his latest stint as the play caller for the Bills.

Next up for the Bills is a very good Dallas Cowboy team that is heading for the playoffs with only one determining factor left to decide and that is will they dethrone their NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles. This is going to be a strong test for the hometown team because they are just at that point that every game left is just critical if they want to qualify for the post season tournament.

The key is just getting in there and then playing your best game here on out. I can honestly tell you looking at our roster I would not want to play the Bills in a post season game because they still have one of the deepest in the league and have some very good weapons if used properly. Interim Offensive Coordinator Joe Brady so far has spread the ball around well, but the most lethal option on the offense is still Stephon Diggs and Josh Allen. I would also say it’s time to add Leonard Fournette to the mix rushing and catching the ball out of the backfield.

Look for the Bills to become the hottest team going down the stretch if they can stay healthy.
