Back in the Tournament

The 2024-2025 season was supposed to be a transition year for the hometown team but once again seven out of eight years under Coach McDermott we are back in the playoffs ,this time with an opportunity to lock down the #2 seed which would guarantee us of playing at home until the AFC Championship game. This time of year, the greatest advantage for any franchise pertains to their health going into the playoffs.
The loss of any key player this time of year could change the outlook of any contests. The most prominent position is of course Josh Allen for us. All players this time of the season have their fair share of bumps and bruises. No player can avoid the physical part of this game, and it takes its toll on each player, but the Bills so far have been lucky this season with very few catastrophic injuries.
This is a testimony of their outstanding training staff and the outstanding upgrade of their facilities which was spearheaded by the Pegula’s a few years ago. As you know I am extremely critical of how ownership approaches the marketing and stadium choice but how they have upgraded the health facilities in Orchard Park is not one of my complaints. The investment they made in the practice facility not only has been shown on the field, but many prospective players speak on the outstanding health facilities at One Bills drive. Many are debating on who they would rather play in the first round of the playoffs, and I truly have no preference because at the bottom you must step up your game at each level of the season approaching the playoffs.
