Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and the National Institute on Minority Health and Disparities (NIMHD) launched Brother, You’re on My Mind: Changing the National Dialogue Regarding Mental Health Among African American Men. The initiative raises awareness of the mental health challenges Black men face with depression and stress, how to initiate mental health conversations, and the importance of seeking help.

In 1927 Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. designed “Achievement Week” to promote the study of Negro life and history, and to identify and offer recognition to individuals both locally and internationally who have made a significant contribution toward improving the quality of life for Black Americans.
