Showcase Ceremony for Resilience & Leadership Bootcamp Graduates At Villa Maria College
The Villa Maria College Center for Resiliency proudly invites members of the media to a special show case ceremony as 40 young Black men (ages 15 to 18) from Buffalo and Western New York celebrate their completion of the Resilience and Leadership Bootcamp. This intensive program, designed to build resilience and leadership skills, will culminate in a closing ceremony on July 3, 2024, at 12:00 PM in front of the main building on the Villa Maria College campus.
The young men have en gaged in rigorous, Army boot camp-style training from June 30 to July 3. This transformative experience aims to empower partici pants with the skills and confidence needed to lead and overcome challenges. The closing ceremony will be attended by over 100 parents and community leaders, all gathering to honor and cheer on these exceptional young men. This event provides a unique opportunity to wit ness firsthand the impact of resilience and leadership training on our future leaders.
