Constance B. Eve, Queen Mother, and A Powerful Voice for Women & Families

Made her Transition on March 26, 2024 at the age of 91

Constance B. Eve

The community is saddened by the passing of Constance B. Eve, a pioneer in providing resources and services for incarcerated women and their children through her organization called Women for Human Rights and Dignity, Inc. (WHRD). Mrs. Eve founded this organization in 1980 and was known for using personal and community resources to help women in need of housing and other basic needs to improve their lives.

Mrs. Eve was a true leader in numerous community, civic, religious and political events in gathering support for women and families in need.

The Homegoing Service for Mrs. Eve will be held on Saturday April 6, 2024 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral. It will also be live streamed beginning at 11 a.m. at https://www.facebook.com/spcbuffalo or https://www.youtube.com@SPCBuffalo/ streams.
