MARQUES CRAIG A LIFE WELL LIVED

Marques Craig Sr. was born in Buffalo N.Y on May 31, 1983, to Albert Craig and Marcell Richardson. He graduated from Bishop Carroll H.S where he completed his welding certificate.

Marques was a man of many talents and was considered a “jack of all trades” by those who knew him. Marques was a sport aficionado with enthusiasm for basketball, football and tennis. His skills as a basketball player in high school are legendary amongst his friends. He loved playing a good game of spades with a passion for playing darts and going to amuse ment parks. Marquis was quick witted and humorous with an enduring personality. He was full of caring tenderness and compassion for others, and it was a joy to be around.

Marques met and fell in love with Shreeta Lynn Wright, and they were married in 2009. from this union, three children were born. On April 11, 2025, Marques transitioned after a long illness. Despite his chronic illness Marques maintained a stoic loving spirit to the end.

Marques leaves his cherished memory to his loving wife Shreeta and his children: Marceles, Jamal Garcia-Craig, Niya Marcel Craig, Ayan na Lillian Craig, Marquis Allen Craig Jr. His mother Marcel Richardson his brothers Larry Redden, Derick, Cedrick, Al jr., Ronald and belove baby brother Jamell Craig, and a host of family and friends. His presence will truly be missed.
