Gina R. Davis

Gina R. Davis is running as a candidate for the Masten District Council Seat. Ms. Davis was born and raised in Buffalo. She is the mother of two and grandmother of four. She is a widow of one year after 14 years of marriage.

A retiree of Verizon Telecommunications, Ms. Davis was Chief Union Steward of Local 1122 CWA. Ms. Davis is also a breast cancer survivor. She has been Block Club President of Jes Breathe Block Club Assn., also partnering with other community groups.

If elected, Ms. Davis says she will address disparity of the City’s fresh food, grocery store locations and mental health illnesses concerns, as well as community engagement with all nationalities; also youth and after school programs and community centers. She also will seek to address concerns of absentee landlords, dilapidated homes and vacant lots.
