Erie County / Arts in Public Places 2025 Master Public Art Plan

The Erie County Department of Environment &Planning, on behalf of the Erie County Arts in Public Places Committee, has prepared a draft 2025 Master Public Art Plan. The document outlines the Committee’s goals and objectives relative to the selection, commission, placement, and maintenance of public art projects. Citizens can provide input on the 2025 Erie County MasterPublic Art Plan.

Hard copies of the draft Master Public Art Plan are available at the Erie County Department of Environment and Planning, Edward A. Rath Building, 95 Franklin Street – Room 1053. The draft Plan can be viewed on Erie County’s web site at: www.erie.gov/publicart

PUBLIC HEARING

A public hearing has been scheduled to discuss the draft Master Public Art Plan for 2025. The public is encouraged to attend this hearing, which will be held on:

  • Thursday, February 6 at 5:30 p.m., Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State University, 1300 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY.

The meeting room is fully accessible. Written comments on the draft Master Public Art Plan will be accepted through February 6, 2025 by Monica Boutin, Project Coordinator, Erie County Department of Environment & Planning, Edward A. Rath County Office Building, 95 Franklin Street – 10th Floor, Buffalo, NY 14202, or by e-mail to publicart@erie.gov.
