Buffalo Man Arraigned On Murder Charge for Fatally Shooting Victim in Kensington Neighborhood
Forty-nine year-old Levon Dickson of Buffalo was arraigned before Buffalo City Court Judge Tiffany Perry on one count of Murder in the Second Degree (Class “A-I” felony). It is alleged that on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Buffalo Police responded to a reported shooting on the 300 block of Warwick Avenue where officers found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, a 60- year old male, died at the scene.
He was held without bail. If convicted of the charge, Dickson faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison. DA Flynn commends the Buffalo Police Department for their work in this investigation.
The case is being prosecuted by Chief Gary W. Hackbush of the Homicide Bureau. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
