City of Buffalo Adjusts Winter Parking Regulations Start Date

Due to unseasonably warm weather conditions forecasted for the upcoming weeks, the City of Buffalo is postponing the start of its winter parking regulations. Typically scheduled to begin on November 15, winter parking regulations will now go into effect on Friday, November 22.

The City will continue to closely monitor weather patterns and review parking needs on a weekly basis to determine any further adjustments. This flexibility is intended to accommodate the warmer conditions while ensuring residents and city services can smoothly transition into winter parking protocols as colder weather approaches.

“Our goal is to be responsive to the conditions we’re seeing,” said Mayor Christopher P. Scanlon. “By adjusting the start of winter parking regulations, we’re aiming to provide flexibility for residents as we make the most of the warmer weather.”
