Buffalo Man Arraigned On Murder and Gun Charges

Twenty-seven year-old Lamarrio A. Clark of Buffalo was arraigned before Buffalo City Court Judge Diane Wray on one count of Murder in the Second Degree (Class “A-I” felony) and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony).

It is alleged that on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Buffalo Police officers responded to a reported shooting on the first block of Warring Avenue near Genesee Street. The victim, 28-year-old Corbin J. Kinsey, Sr., was taken by ambulance to ECMC where he later died. The defendant is accused of shooting the victim with an illegal handgun with the intent to cause his death.

If convicted of the highest charge, Clark faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
