AAHANF to Observe 50th Founding Anniversary
The Afro-American Historical Association of the Niagara Frontier’s 50th Founding Anniversary Luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 4th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at AcQua, 2192 Niagara St., Buffalo. Tickets are available at $50.00 per person.
The Keynote Speaker will be Douglas Ruffin, Jr., Curator of the Buffalo History Channel. Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to Founders Dr. Lillian M. Williams and Melvin Watkins. The William Wells Brown Award for the Preservation of African American History will also be presented at the Luncheon.
