Buffalo Senior Recognized As “VIP” At Senior Wishes Event

Senior Wishes, honored some very special guests at their recent Sips, Suds & Sweets event, presented by M&T Bank & Wilmington Trust and held on April 18th at Fox Run at Orchard Park.

One of the highlights of the evening was the introduction of five VIPs – local seniors who have been recipients of a wish granting or a Veteran HERO Box within the previous year. This year, Rozetta Kyle of Buffalo was among the honorees.

Rozetta was granted her wish to visit family in Georgia whom she had not seen in years and some of whom she had just recently found. She was accompanied by her daughter Veronica and grand daughter Savannah. Rozetta’s wish was especially gratifying as it brought 3 generations of a family together.

In 2023, Senior Wishes granted their 450th Wish, expanded the recognition of senior Veterans with HERO box distributions, and delivered over 175 holiday gifts to isolated seniors living independently and in nursing homes. Senior Wishes continues to focus on engaging seniors living independently and in care facilities and providing them with life enriching experiences.
