October Is Alive At Buffalo Central Terminal!

Summer’s over, October is here, and we’re bringing our events season to a close with a double-dose of seasonal fun! This year, we’re closing out our 2024 events calendar with Fall Fest and Trunk-or-Treat at the Buffalo Central Terminal.

“We are excited to partner with the Central Terminal once again for this year’s Trunk or Treat celebration,” said Ryan Undercoffer, Executive Director of the Matt Urban Center. “This is one of the highlights of our year. It’s a joy to be able to provide a fun and engaging activity for families in the neighborhood where we work.”

Gather with us on the grounds at 495 Paderewski Drive, Buffalo, for the following events:

  • Fall Fest: Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This autumn event will include live music and local bands, food trucks, beer and wine vendors, no-mess pumpkin decorating, henna artists, face-painting, carriage rides, photo installations, and lots of local vendors.

  • Trunk-or-Treat: Oct. 29, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Matt Urban Center’s annual Halloween tradition provides a safe, family-friendly space for trick-or-treating in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. Want to participate? Come dressed in your Halloween best, decorate your vehicle, and hand out treats! Sponsors for the event are always appreciated, and donations are always welcome.

Thanks to generous sponsors, all Buffalo Central Terminal events are completely FREE to the community. Our presenting sponsors are M&T Bank, Fillmore District Councilmember Mitch Nowakowski, the Regional Revitalization Partnership, and East Side Avenues, with additional thanks to Highmark BlueCross BlueShield, former Erie County Legislator Howard J. Johnson Jr., Lawley Insurance, Lippes Mathias LLP, the Center for Regional Strategies, and Empire State Development.
