Erie County Legislator John Bargnesi to Honor 10-Year-Old Sports ReIllustrated Cover Star as Citizen of the Month
Erie County Legislator John Bargnesi will recognize Akron Elementary fifth-grader Honor Smoke as Citizen of the Month for April, this Thursday, April 10th, at 11:30 AM. Honor, a member of the Tonawanda Band of Seneca, recently made national headlines as the youngest person ever featured on the cover of a special Sports Illustrated edition. The recognition will take place during the Legislature’s regular session and will be followed by a student tour and refreshments.
