Buffalo PAL to Host Summer Baseball League Championship Games at Sahlen’s Field

WHO: Police Athletic League of Buffalo Athletic Director Orv Cott, Buffalo Public Schools representative and Executive Director of the Police Athletic League of Buffalo Nekia Kemp

WHAT: On Tuesday, The Police Athletic League of Buffalo (PAL) will host two Summer Baseball League Championship Games. The competing teams are students from Iroquois Central, West Seneca and Buffalo Public Schools. PAL’s Summer Baseball League Championship Game is open to spectators. Those who wish to attend the game can enter through the Consumers Pub at The Park entrance on Washington Street. The leagues are sponsored by Independent Health.

WHY: PAL Baseball Leagues promote leadership, physical fitness, and mentorship for youth. Buffalo PAL operates leagues year-round at no cost to participants. PAL boys and girls ages 8-18 participate in 10 weeks of league play and Championship finals.
