Westminster Community Charter School to Host Health & Wellness Fair
More than 30 local organizations will be on-site to help provide resources, fair is free and open to the public
Westminster Community Charter School, in partnership with Buffalo Promise Neighborhood, a long-term collaboration between M&T Bank and its community to empower schools, students, and families, will host a free Health & Wellness Fair for the Kensington-Bailey community on Saturday, February 8, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The fair will feature several activities, including a yoga class, free health screenings, children’s arts and crafts and more. Additionally, representatives from more than 30 local organizations, including UB Community Health Equity Research Institute, Evergreen Health, Northland Workforce Training Center, GreenForce Training Inc., and Big Brother Big Sister will be available to provide support and resources on housing, health care, employment, legal services, and youth programming. Free lunch will be provided by Westminster’s Head Chef Shannon Tegler.
This community-focused fair is part of Westminster Community Charter School and Buffalo promise Neighborhood’s Super Saturday series of events, which provides services to the community and activities for youth.
