Hope Chest Buffalo Niagara Dragon Boat Festival: Tribute to Breast Cancer Warriors

Hope Chest, a local non profit supporting breast cancer survivors, will hold the 11th Annual Hope Chest Buffalo Niagara Dragon Boat Festival™ Saturday, June 15.

The 2024 Hope Chest Buffalo Niagara Dragon Boat Festival™ and races will once again be held at Buffalo RiverWorks, a popular Buffalo venue for boating, sports, music, and entertainment. This West ern New York summer fes tival is free to spectators! As part of the day’s events there will be a 50/50 drawing, basket raffle, merchandise sale, refreshments, and children’s activities.

The festival includes a Carnation Ceremony, which is a tribute to women who have lost their lives to breast cancer and to those who continue to fight. This ceremony honors their resilience and celebrates their enduring spirit. Paddlers and spectators toss carnations to represent strength and perseverance.

Over 40 corporate, com munity and breast cancer teams from all over North America have registered for the race. Join us at Buffalo RiverWorks for this annual Western New York summer festival! All proceeds ben efit Hope Chest of Buffalo.
