Catholic Health to Present 14 Scholarships to Associates Pursuing Healthcare Degrees at Trocaire College

WHAT:

Catholic Health has long supported the professional development and career advancement of its associates. Now entering its second year, in partnership with Trocaire College, the health system is awarding 14 fully paid scholarships to members of its workforce. These scholarships, part of the Trocaire College Tuition Reimbursement Program, provide 100% tuition assistance for associate degrees in Registered Nursing, Licensed Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, Radiologic Technology, and Medical Sonography (Ultrasound). As healthcare providers continue to face staffing shortages following the COVID-19 pandemic, Catholic Health has intensified its recruitment and retention efforts through initiatives like this, which focus on growing talent throughout the system.

WHO:

Catholic Health President & CEO Joyce Markiewicz and Trocaire College President Dr. Bassam Deeb will present the scholarships to the 14 recipients. Markiewicz, Dr. Deeb, and the scholarship recipients will be available for photographs and interviews following the presentations.
