Erie County (NY) Chapter of the Links, Inc. Partner with the Buffalo Urban League Y.E.S. Program to Present White Coats/Black Docs

Local dental professionals and members of the Erie County (NY) Chapter of The Links Incorporated partnered to present immersive hands-on simulation cases for students of the Buffalo Urban League Y.E.S. Program.

Four hypothetical patient cases created by dental student Jennifer Okewunmi were presented. To each case there was an interactive station with tooth models where a dental procedure was first demonstrated by the dental provider and then conducted by the LEEP student for a hands-on experience. This event was facilitated by Erie County (NY) Chapter member Meelin Dian Kit-Wells DDS, M.ED.

The Erie County (NY) Chapter of the Links Incorporated and the Buffalo Urban League have been in Partnership to provide Service to Youth since 2022.
