Annual Kwanzaa Celebration

These scenes were taken during the Annual Kwanzaa Celebration December 29th. The highlight was Ujamaa - Cooperative Economics. Speakers were Dr. Henry Taylor and Dr. Curtis Haynes.

The honoree was Community Elder Marcus Brown. Performers were provided by the Inner City Ballet. The 2023 theme was “Defy the Lie and Embrace the Truth.” The lovely ladies posed are Betty Jean Grant, Carlanda Meadows, Karima Amin and Mariama Ajamu.
