The CARUBBA & COMPANY NYS GOLDEN GLOVES

One of the greatest amateur events in all sports took place in Buffalo, New York, on Friday, January 24, 2025. The CARUBBA & COMPANY NYS GOLDEN GLOVES was held at Buffalo RiverWorks, located at 359 Ganson Street.

Western New York amateur boxers, along with competitors from across the state, trained rigorously and eagerly anticipated their opportunity to participate in the most prestigious amateur boxing tournament in the country—the Carubba & Company NYS Golden Gloves. These athletes prepared to seize their moment, aiming to etch their names in boxing history and earn the coveted title of Golden Gloves champion.

Winners of the Golden Gloves’ open class will advance to the National Golden Gloves Tournament, set to take place May 10–18 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pictured are Don Patterson, N.Y.S. Western New York Golden Gloves Chairman, and Kenny Vargas, Ring Announcer.
