Historic Visit

Rev. Boise Kimber and Brother Darryl Saxon

Buffalo welcomed National Baptist Convention President, Rev. Boise Kimber. President Kimber has only been in his position for two weeks, and he made Buffalo one of his first visits.

President Kimber visited several churches while in our city. He was in Buffalo for the 90th Anniversary of Pilgrim Baptist Church. The Pastor of Pilgrim Baptist Church is Rev. Frank Bostic. Pastor Bostic is the treasurer for the National Baptist Convention.

President Kimber announced that there are changes coming to the convention, including the upgrade to the headquarters in Nashville, TN located on the Cumberland River. There were many churches represented by their pastor and members.
