Vice – President Kamala Harris conceded the 2024 Election on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Howard University. Although it was emotional, it was done with class and dignity. She revealed that she called President Elect Donald Trump and congratulated him on winning the election. She spoke at Howard University to an overflow audience of students. And while she conceded defeat, she said firmly that I do not concede the fight that fueled our campaign. She stated that she called Donald Trump and said that she will join him in a peaceful transfer of power. She further stated that, “We owe our loyalty to the constitution and to the United States and our God, not to one person or one party. We will not give up our freedoms and the fight to protect our schools against violence. No matter who we are, we all have fundamental freedoms. We must live our lives by lifting one another up. The fight for our freedoms is always worth it.”

Kamala Harris told the students that we must not give. It will take hard work. Sometimes the fight takes awhile. Don’t ever give up. You have the power to do it. You have the capacity to do good in the world. The time now is to organize and stay involved.” She ended with these words: “Only when it is dark can you see the stars. Build on optimism, on truth and service.” This was an inspirational speech for students at Howard University, the oldest Historically Black University in the nation. ‘Crypto Black’ More than half of Black lawyers, doctors, educators and other Black professionals in the country have graduated from Howard University. Howard fuels the Black Middle Class.

While Republicans are celebrating with those who supported Donald Trump, there are a few realities that people must face. Trump promised a lot in his campaign including the mass deportation of illegal immigrants, increasing tariffs on imported goods, lowering prices of food and fuel, eliminating the department of education, possible changing Obama Care, Trump says he loves Black people, and he has done more for Blacks than anyone else. The appointment of Robert Kennedy as CZAR over Healthcare is concerning. RFK has a history of conspiracies over vaccines and putting fluoride in water. People should go back and read his comments in the Final Call newspaper. He wants fluoride removed!! I urge people to do the research. Now, here is the question. How will Donald Trump keep his promises?
