A Presidential Essay Contest for Adults; 1st Prize $175, 2nd Prize $100

This Columnist would like to invite interested adults to enter my next essay contest. I have created more than 100 essay contests for both adults and youth. The subject for this contest is on the current campaign for president of the United State.

Participants must address the questions on the debate between Donald Trump and President Joe Biden held recently. What are your feelings going forward in this campaign? How do you feel about Joe Biden’s decision now to stay in the race? What are the issues that you want to hear more about? Imagine that you can select a candidate for president. Who would it be and why? What are your feelings about Vice President Kamala Harris?

Some Democratic leaders are suggesting other names for consideration to run for president if Joe Biden makes a decision not to run. Congressman Jim Clyburn, U. S. Representative for South Carolina’s 6th Congressional District, said recently in an interview with CNN, that if Joe Biden does not run, then he would support Vice President Kamala Harris and that she should get first consideration. Jim Clyburn is the third-ranking House Democrat. He was elected in 1992. Jim Clyburn is serious about the fact that Kamala Harris should not be ignored. Others that might be considered include Maryland’s first Black governor Wes Moore, and Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries. There are a lot of talented people in leadership in the Democrat Party.

How do you feel about the recent decision of the Supreme Court giving Donald Trump immunity from prosecution?

Participants must submit no more than 2 and ½ typed pages. The deadline to enter this contest is Friday, July 26, 2024 by midnight on this date. All completed essays must be emailed to me at ewriter52@roadrunner.com. You can also call me at (716) 847-6010 for more information. The question is: “Which Way America?” Where do we go from here?
