“I strongly support Buffalo Pro Soccer’s decision to select the former Buffalo News building and HSBC Atrium as their preferred site for their proposed new 10,000-seat United Soccer League (USL) stadium. Soccer is the fastest-growing sport in America and bringing more sports and entertainment attractions to downtown Buffalo is critical to our city’s continued growth. 

“Securing state funding for this stadium is a priority in the city’s New York State legislative agenda as we work to reestablish downtown, following the Covid-19  pandemic as a safe, vibrant place where people can truly live, work, and play and be a destination for visitors.”
