Amherst Republican Chair Brian Rusk Condemns Hate Speech and Violence
By Brian D. Rusk
Amherst Republican Chairman Brian D. Rusk has issued a five-point anti-hate and anti-violence plan in the Town of Amherst regarding the Middle East war.
Rusk stated:
The Amherst Republican Committee discourages all religious, racial and ethnic hate speech and violence in the Town of Amherst.
No violent anti-Israel and anti-Palestine hate speech should be allowed. We reject violent hate speech at all college and university campuses in the Town of Amherst. Hate speech in downtown Buffalo protests is not acceptable. We need reasonable discussion as hate will solve no problems.
Protesters pushing hate speech on the 3 campuses in Amherst should face expulsion and arrests in the same way that anti-African American and anti-LGBQT hate speech is not acceptable. Foreign students promoting hate speech and violence should be punished to the full extent of the law.
The President of Columbia University in NYC should resign for allowing hate speech and anarchy on its campus.
All violent protest and hate speech in public places disrupting business and education should not be permitted.
