The Promise of America

The promise of America is an example steeped in Masonic lore that every master of the lodge must install and counsel their successor, it is a critical part of the promise of America. It is why the world tunes into each inauguration to see that despite our shortcomings, we will honor this pledge to improve on an imperfect union.
This model of the promise finds its roots from Ancient Kemet. The Pharaoh Djoser and his visor Imhotep helped to develop this system of democratic governance. The framers knew that in order for this republic for the people, and by the people it must have the promise to improve, but it also demands a peaceful transition of power no matter the outcome of our elections, once the ballots have been counted and the determination of victory assured, the loser will concede and pledge to work for the good of the people.
This pledge is at every level of government and must be adhered to or you will have a return to the chaos that led to January 6th, 2021. This is why unfortunately it also disqualifies Donald J Trump from office, but it must come at the hands of the people. America must vote in support of the promise at every level and from every state. This action will send a clear answer to the world that the Promise of America is on the ballot this year.
Each president since Ronald Reagan left a letter in the Resolution Desk offering God Speed to their successor. This practice also includes Donald J Trump, who is said to have written a very gracious letter to Joe Biden. It is unfortunate that his public action and his continued politically immature conduct has continued to disgrace America’s greatness. No other President in history has found himself privileged in legal entanglement including the improper storage and handling of top-secret information.
America must take back a firm hold of the promise to work for the greater good of all so we can live in peace and help save our environment, respecting all citizens regardless of belief, creed, or color. This promise passed down from ancient Africa back to our hands now, all must register and vote for the promise!

Barack Obama (D) left a letter to Donald Trump (R) on January 20, 2016, during Trump’s transition to office. Trump said, “It [the letter] was long. It was complex. It was thoughtful ... And it took time to do it, and I appreciated it.
Dear Mr. President
Congratulations on a remarkable run. Millions have placed their hopes in you, and all of us, regardless of party, should hope for expanded prosperity and security during your tenure.
This is a unique office, without a clear blueprint for success, so I do not know if any advice from me will be particularly helpful. Still, let me offer a few reflections from the past 8 years.
First, we’ve both been blessed, in different ways, with great good fortune. Not everyone is so lucky. It is up to us to do everything we can (to) build more ladders of success for every child and family that is willing to work hard.
Second, American leadership in this world really is indispensable. It is up to us, through action and example, to sustain the international order that has expanded steadily since the end of the Cold War, and upon which our own wealth and safety depend.
Third, we are just temporary occupants of this office. That makes us guardians of those democratic institutions and traditions — like rule of law, separation of powers, equal protection, and civil liberties — that our forebears fought and bled for. Regardless of the push and pull of daily politics, it is up to us to leave those instruments of our democracy at least as strong as we found them.
